ALEXIS stands for “Association of Legal Executives in Singapore”

We are a non-profit, mutual benefit association dedicated to the advancement of the profession of legal support personnel in Singapore.

Why ALEXIS?
Within the legal profession, lawyers have always relied upon their support staff and Law Practices today can hardly operate effectively without them.

Legal Executives are important members of the legal team, playing key roles in the delivery of legal services. In some law practices, the work that experienced legal support personnel undertake is virtually indistinguishable from that undertaken by the Lawyers who employ them.

ALEXIS was formed because we felt that an organization dedicated to promoting the professional development and standing of legal executives in Singapore was due.

Who Can Join?

ALEXIS seeks to represent anyone who provides support and assistance in the delivery of legal services in law practices and in corporations and government agencies in Singapore.

Through formal education, training or experience, legal executives possess expertise and knowledge of the processes related to the delivery of legal services, but who do not hold a practicing certificate.
